THE Criminal Law Update started in 1985 as a bi-monthly newsletter to keep Massachusetts prosecutors up to date about changes to the criminal law, new rules of procedure and judicial decisions. Since then we have added practice tips and information on pending legislation. We have also greatly expanded the distribution list to law enforcement officials, academics, policy makers...and even defense attorneys. We hope this website will help us provide even more information to a larger audience.
